Melissa began her career at Chilton Research Services, working on polling for ABC News and The Washington Post as well as a vast array of other social science researchers and government agencies. She then moved on and began a social science research practice at ICR, which has grown into Social Science Research Solutions (SSRS). As President of SSRS, Melissa is responsible for the successful design and execution of all research endeavors. Her areas of expertise include overall project design, questionnaire development, complex sampling design, weighting, and creating usable deliverables. An active member of AAPOR (American Association of Public Opinion Research), Melissa is on the Education Committee and chairs the subcommittee responsible for conference short courses. Melissa received her BA from Rutgers College, double majoring in Psychology and Journalism/Mass Media. She received her MA from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. In her personal life, she is the proud mother of two great kids who fill every spare minute not spent working.
